Refund rules for Hitu Image image generation and credit purchases

Important: Credits are virtual service units, not cash or stored value. Completed image generation normally is not eligible for cash refund. Failed or partially failed generation is handled first through automatic credit refund.
1. Refund Scope
Eligible review cases
1. Duplicate or incorrect charges
- The same credit package was charged more than once.
- Payment succeeded but credits were not credited after review.
- Records confirm a system or payment-channel error.
2. Material service interruption
- A Hitu Image service issue prevented normal use for a material period.
- The interruption affected paid credit usage.
- The review is based on service and transaction records.
3. Permanent paid-service stop
- Hitu Image permanently discontinues the relevant paid service.
- Unused paid credits are reviewed where reasonably practicable.
- Applicable legal requirements are followed.
4. Generation failure credit refund
- Failed jobs are designed to return eligible credits automatically.
- Partial multi-image results may refund only the missing-image portion.
- Credit refunds are account balance adjustments, not cash refunds.
Generally non-refundable
1. Completed generation usage
- Credits used by completed generation jobs.
- Subjective dissatisfaction with style, quality, or prompt interpretation.
- Normal model variation after the requested service completed.
2. Gifted or promotional credits
- Free, registration, promotional, redemption-code, or manually granted credits.
- Credits used in violation of service or content rules.
- Requests caused by account sharing or credential leakage.
3. Third-party channel costs
- Bank fees, payment-channel fees, taxes, or exchange-rate differences.
- Processing windows controlled by banks, wallets, card networks, or payment providers.
- Expired or unsupported refund operations outside our control.

3. Review and Payment Timing
Review time
- Complete request: normally within 7 business days.
- Complex cases may take longer.
- Missing records may require follow-up.
Refund arrival
- Original channel where technically available.
- Bank, wallet, and card network timing varies.
- Partial or expired refunds may not be supported by every channel.
4. Special Notes
Virtual service units
Credits measure eligible image generation usage. They are not deposits, securities, stored value, or transferable cash balances.
Refund method
Approved cash refunds are normally returned through the original payment channel where technically available.
Disputes and abuse
Fraudulent, abusive, duplicated, or terms-violating requests may be rejected. Chargebacks may pause related credits or account access during provider review.
